Why I, An Otherwise Sensible Adult, Love Disneyland >> Thought Catalog
As anyone who has paid rent, failed to land a job, done taxes, or simply lived the mundane adult lives that most of us do, you know as well as I that there are few occasions for glee. Sure, we all have weekends and vacations (if we are fortunate enough to afford them) but for many of us, nothing comes close to igniting the childish sparks of delight we once had for holidays and theme parks. For me, Disneyland is the closest I get.
This article is exactly why I do what I do.

Videos like this are pretty much what I live for at this point in my life.
Mostly because I leave for Williamsburg in 36 hours.
I LEAVE FOR WILLIAMSBURG IN 36 HOURS.
Things are starting to get real. Waiting to hear from my wonderful roomie about apartment things, and then maybe starting to pack my life into boxes?
Tomorrow’s going to be a really rough day, seeing as it’s my last shift at Target. My three-year anniversary of starting there was yesterday, and it made me realize that the people I’ve met there have had the biggest impact on my life over the last three years, definitely much more so than Ship… I’ve somehow survived three Black Fridays, a handful of overnights, and countless crazy guests with the help of my Target fam.
It’s SO scary to see the PA chapter of my life come to a close, but I honestly couldn’t be happier about the opportunity to go back to my Williamsburg life.
Here’s to the summer of no expectations, part two.
